Redwood Valley (2.8 km SE of epicenter) [Map] / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : Felt shaking. Items in house moved slightly.. Lasted a few seconds long. Was loud. Could hear the rocks. Felt a few smaller earthquakes after this one. | 3 users found this interesting. (reported through our app)  
Lakeport, CA (43.3 km SE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : There I was, laying in my bed with my cats and all of the sudden they ran into the next bedroom for no apparent reason. I turned onto my side, on the bed and I almost got up to see why they ran away from my bed. I noticed how quite it was inside and outside the house. Then about twenty seconds later I could feel a very low vibration and a three second jolting sideways on the bed I am on. It hit with a jolt, then another jolt and two more shapr jolts! the cats ran away into the room next to mine! my wife asked me if we should do anything and I suggested that we run to the street yelling and screeching aloud "EARTHQUAKE, EARTHQUAKE!!" I felt one large bump as if someone had slammed a door, and then the entire house shook for probably only 1 second. I thought maybe a bear slammed into the side of the house.
