Light magnitude 4.4 quake hits 94 km southeast of Kunduz, Afghanistan around noon

Just 23 minutes ago, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck near the town of Farkhār, Afghanistan. The tremor was recorded around noon on Thursday 19 November 2020 at 12.31 pm local time, at an intermediate to considerable depth of 161.7 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.4 earthquake as well.
