An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred only 20 minutes ago 94 km southeast of Coatzacoalcos, Mexico, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate to considerable depth of 168 km beneath the epicenter near Enrique López Huitrón in the evening on Monday 23 November 2020 at 9.49 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
