Chitre, Herrera, in Panama / Light shaking (MMI IV) / single lateral shake / 1-2 s : I am in the city of Chitre about 20 km from the twoun of Guarare near to the Lagunitas. I was at my desk writing on my Lapto, suddeny I felt a strong explosion, my desk did not move. By the characteristics of the noise, I think a meteor fell | One user found this interesting.  
Guararé, Los Santos (2.1 km S of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Vibration like a long thunder during a storm and then windows and doors rattling. Sensation like big fireworks exploding in the air.  
Chitre City, Herrera Province, Panama / Light shaking (MMI IV) / very short : We heard the noise. The shake was short, but felt it strong. Me and my dog jumped out of bed. My mother did hear the noise, but did not felt the shake. The neighbors didn't bother to come out, so We think they didn't feel it.
