An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 occurred only 14 minutes ago 8 miles east of Union Hill-Novelty Hill, Washington, United States, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 9.8 miles beneath the epicenter near Union Hill-Novelty Hill, King County, Washington, USA, early morning on Tuesday 29 December 2020 at 6:36 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.2 as well.

21.1 km S of epicenter [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single lateral shake / very short : I had just turned over in bed, so was at rest. It felt like someone holding the house and giving it one good, firm shake. Several popping noises of the house frame occurred all at once. | One user found this interesting.
