An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred only 27 minutes ago 42 km northwest of Cintalapa de Figueroa, Mexico, Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN) reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate to considerable depth of 157 km beneath the epicenter near Cintalapa de Figueroa, Cintalapa, Chiapas, Mexico, late at night on Wednesday 3 March 2021 at 11:21 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
