England (200.1 km SSE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Was in a hotel on the edge of the Pululahua crater, north of Quito when we felt shaking. As we are from UK and not used to earth tremors it took a while to realise what it was. Noticed the TV shaking and then water slopping about in a vase just as we thought the TV might fall off the shelf it abruptly stopped.
