An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred only 14 minutes ago 94 km northeast of Surigao City, Philippines, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 97 km beneath the epicenter near Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, Caraga, Philippines, early evening on Wednesday 14 April 2021 at 7:09 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
