libradene Boksburg / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : We have now had three tremors. The first one made the dogs and I jump up as it sounded like a bomb had gone off. The second one was a light tremble. The third one was at the same intensity as the first one. | 4 users found this interesting.

Ravebswood (6.2 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Lying in bed watching tv, gelt shacking underneath like bed was shacking. Felt liked it moved east to west

Ravebswood (6.2 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Lying in bed watching tv, gelt shacking underneath like bed was shacking. Felt liked it moved east to west  
Boksburg North (529.7 km N of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : First one there was Shaking for a few seconds. Had a loose pipe fall from a cabinet outside. Second tremor shorter than first one.  
Boksburg South at home (7.3 km ESE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Hears a rumble underground then the dogs started barking and the house stared shaking and things falling off cupboard... happened twice not far apart

Cinderella, Boksburg / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single lateral shake / 5-10 s : My mum and I live in a 2nd storey flat on Cnr Hertzog and Killian st in Cinderella, Boksburg. On Sun 2nd May...we heard what sounded like a massive explosion....as if a bomb had gone off..or like massive thunderclap had occured directly overhea  
Witfield / not felt : I was standing outside working and didn't feel anything, only found out about the earthquake because of family that felt it  
Parkrand Gardens. / not felt : One at 13h00 was not heavy. There was another one later, which was much stronger. I think that was around 15h00. Need to follow this one.  
Parkdene Boksburg / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Shaking and loud noise underfoot. Felt very close as if it was right under the house. We were sitting in the TV at the time. No moving or rattling of things were experienced during this event.

Parkrand / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : We felt two distinct tremors about 45 minutes apart along with load banging noises. My first impression was that someone bomb the bank ATM but when I went outside all seemed to be in order. The second time I also ran out as we heard ahead bang again.

Boksburg west, home / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / very short : Feld the first one,and a loud noice like something falling/crashing underground. Feld the second one around 15:23. Not so bad as the first but strong enough to make the house tremble.  
Parkdene Boksburg / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 15-20 s : We had 2 after one another. The 2nd one was stronger than the 1st.Wi sow shakes and as it went through the house my legs felt the shake  
BOKSBURG / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Stuff was falling off my mirror case and doors were shaking and the flood aswell, was very loud and very scary  
Sunward Park / Light shaking (MMI IV) : I felt as something was moving below my house. It shook a bit and I asked my son what's happening but, he was equally shocked.  
Boksburg North ,in my home / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : I have felt a light tremor for a duration of 2 to 3 seconds. The whole house was shaking . No damages are noticeable.  
Cinderella boksburg / Light shaking (MMI IV) / very short : Twice, about 15 minutes apart there were trimmers which felt like earthquakes or underground explosives.  
BOKSBURG WEST / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Definitely some type of tremor, which made a large noise. Another second one, but much shorter and not as severe felt at 14:40 too.  
Elspark Germiston / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Strange movement | One user found this interesting.  
Beyer's Park, Boksburg / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 5-10 s : Windows rattling.. felt like a tremor | One user found this interesting.
