Just 19 minutes ago, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck near Calama, Provincia de El Loa, Antofagasta, Chile. The tremor was recorded around noon on Tuesday 4 May 2021 at 1:52 pm local time, at an intermediate depth of 105 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
