An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 occurred only 12 minutes ago 92 km southwest of Gorontalo, Indonesia, Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate depth of 97 km beneath the epicenter near Gorontalo, Indonesia, early evening on Wednesday 5 May 2021 at 6:02 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
