The earthquake occurred at a very shallow depth of 1.9 miles beneath the epicenter in the evening on Sunday 13 June 2021 at 8:16 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
