HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (44.8 km E of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / vibration and rolling / 1-2 s : It felt like someone crashed into my home. The entire structure moved, vibrated and shock. It was definitely noticeable, albeit very short lived.  
Los Alamitos Rossmoor (38.3 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : A Loud and sudden Boom and glass in windows of the house shook. It was startling enough to think it was a possible earthquake or sonic boom.  
Anaheim (48.6 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / rattling, vibrating / very short : I would say we didn’t even feel any shaking. It was a weird sensation, almost like a really strong gust of wind, but it definitely wasn’t wind. The whole house made a sudden creak sound and the windows rattled a bit. It only lasted a fraction of a second.

Carson, Los Angeles (30 km NE of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single vertical bump / very short : Carson, sitting on third floor. Low subsonic rumble, audible for half a second. Audible 30 Hz with lower components. This is why many reports compare it to the sound of a truck passing by although the source was definitely underground. No report on USGS, puzzling. Depth data would help.  
Palos Verdes Estates, CA (17 km NNE of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : The room vibrated and the windows rattled. No damage and nothing was swaying (but nothing is hanging).  
West Athens, Los Angeles, California (35.3 km NNE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Didn’t really feel it in one part of the house someone else in the same house said their room shook. Definitely vibrated and shook all windows.  
Garden Grove, Orange, California (53 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / 2-5 s : Me and my sister were half asleep until our door rattled like crazy. We brushed it off thinking it was the wind or our baby cousin until we heard our mother downstairs claiming to have felt and earthquake. Our little cousin runs downstairs and also adds her input claiming to have felt the bed shake.  
Rolling Hills, CA (18.1 km NE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / very short : One sliding door at my house shook. It sounded like someone ran into it. It sounded like a split-second shake of the door. One of my dogs woke-up and barked because of it. No other windows or doors near me shook and none of my chandeliers were swaying.  
Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. We are located close to R (46.5 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Sounded like a freight train. I was upstairs when it happened. Just vibrations and loud roaring sound for maybe 5-7 seconds.  
Westminster, Orange, California (46.5 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / very short : I'm in Huntington Beach. I felt no shaking but heard a short rumble and some windows rattled for a short time. Both the rumble and the rattling windows lasted only a few seconds.

Newport Beach, CA / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : I was walking away from the ocean across the sand towards the houses on the basically empty beach. All the windows on the houses vibrated at once and there was a pretty loud low rumbling sound.  
FULLERTON / Moderate shaking (MMI V) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Moderate rattle. Thought earthquake or sound barrier or meteorite. Nothing moved only the rattle of the windows. It was odd and a very very short duration. Does Govenment have a way to activate a rumble through 5G? Just inquiring? You never know with the military 5G that has not been tested with humans. Maybe Russia knows more about 5G?  
Long Beach California / Very weak shaking (MMI II) : This was not an earthquake. It has been confirmed that it was a sonic boom produced from a military aircraft.  
Rancho Palos Verdes / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Felt weak shaking while on 2nd floor of single family home. Initially thought my children were playing roughly downstairs. Then realized it must be an earthquake when the whole house seemed to vibrate.  
Huntington CA / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / very short : I was standing on the beach (Newland Street). There was a sudden VERY loud sound like an explosion about 9:40 a.m. today

Encino / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / very short : My husband and I both felt it, but my daughter did not. I wouldn’t call it weak, but it was quick. There was no rolling and the pendant lights didn’t move. Almost felt like something hit the house, but in two separate spots. Then it was over. Couldn’t find anything about it and started to think I might have been wrong.

Huntington Beach, CA / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : felt and heard loud rumbling, jolting the ground. Kinda short but intense. shook the house fairly well. Went to check doors would open n close.  
Redondo beach / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : Heard a rumble like a loud truck then felt some rattling. At work in a building 1st floor. We all heard and felt it. It didn’t get a notification on QuakeFeed app.  
Lomita / Light shaking (MMI IV) / 1-2 s : Sudden short Jolt. Rafters shook briefly. No rolling sensation. Much as if a large tree had fallen against the building.  
Torrance / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / very short : More noise than feel; thought at first it might be a truck outside. 2 other adults also felt and we confirmed no truck in area.  
Long Beach / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single vertical bump / 1-2 s : Sharp, quick jolt with accompanying loud slam. Didn't disturb hanging lights or pictures, no interruption of utilities. Pets were briefly upset then returned to normal behavior. Colleague in Inglewood suggested it might have been a sonic boom.  
Huntington Beach / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / very short : Definitely not an earthquake. Pool water was as calm as a pond. Felt more like a shock wave or a sonic boom, windows and doors all shook and rattled. Dogs and birds went crazy. Friends from all around the area felt it/heard it as well. I didn’t hear any sort of boom or explosion, but I felt the wave.

There was an intense, quick jolt. My cat ran. It was over quickly. There was zero “rolling” feeling—just a brief, intense shake.

I was near French glass doors, and they shook suddenly back and forth. They were dead-bolted closed, so the movement had to be strong to cause them to rattle as loud, and as long, as they did. The rattling noise lasted about 10 seconds. I thought about going outside in case it was just the beginning of a large quake, but nothing more happened. I turned on the radio, and the local TV news, but I saw no report of a quake. I

Sudden, very loud sound, as if a half-ton weight had fallen from a height and struck the ground next door. Very briefly rattled windows and doors, and was felt through slab floor. Motion felt like it was slightly angled from vertical. Across the street neighbor came out of his house and described it as a sonic boom.
