Just 19 minutes ago, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Nago, Nago Shi, Okinawa, Japan. The tremor was recorded in the afternoon on Sunday 1 August 2021 at 4:53 pm local time, at a moderately shallow depth of 30 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
