Palm Springs / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Rumble and drapes moved  
Standing in my kitchen / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single lateral shake / very short : One single jolt, nothing continued shaking, hanging lights didn’t swing at all. Both my dogs jumped up and started barking. Felt like a heavy door slamming.
