Los Angeles (4.9 km N of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / single vertical bump / 2-5 s : I was laying in my bed when I felt a little movement then like something had passed under my bed and lately I hear a boom!  
Westchester (Los Angeles) 90045 / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single vertical bump / very short : One sharp jolt. No rolling, swaying, or other motion. Just a loud, sharp noise, and a small vibration in the house. definitely not a sonic boom, or other cause.  
Los Angeles, CA 90016 / Light shaking (MMI IV) / vibration and rolling / 1-2 s : Laying flat in bed trying to sleep when the quick jolt occurred. To me it felt like no more than a magnitude 3 earthquake and lasted no more than 2-3 seconds.
