A magnitude 5.2 earthquake near Acari, Provincia de Caravelí, Arequipa, Peru, was reported only 27 minutes ago by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), considered one of the key international agencies that monitor seismic activity worldwide. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 12 km beneath the epicenter early afternoon on Friday, November 12th, 2021, at 3:41 pm local time.
