near Kimberly, Jefferson, Alabama (12 km SW of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single lateral shake / 1-2 s : It was actually a barely audible boom with 2 rattling events. The first rattled the house followed almost immediately by the second which was even stronger. Crazy thing is I googled “earthquake just now in Alabama” and discovered that there was one ov | 7 users found this interesting.
