Significant earthquake of magnitude 5.1 just reported 108 km southwest of Zahedan, Iran

Just 12 minutes ago, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Iran. The tremor was recorded in the morning on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, at 11:36 am local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 5.2 earthquake.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Zahedan (pop. 552,000) located 108 km from the epicenter, and Noşratābād (pop. 4,200) 116 km away.
