Just 18 minutes ago, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck near Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. The tremor was recorded in the afternoon on Saturday, May 28th, 2022, at 4:30 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 15 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
