A shallow magnitude 4.4 earthquake was reported in the morning near Pedasi, Distrito de Pedasí, Provincia de Los Santos, Panama.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the quake hit on Thursday, June 30th, 2022, at 8:43 am local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. Shallow earthquakes are felt more strongly than deeper ones as they are closer to the surface.
