Family members upstairs and on the main floor felt it. | One user found this interesting.

It was very odd. And there was a weird smell outside just before it happened. Once it happened the smell was gone. Almost like a propane like smell. He was sure it was a bear but my house is a bit bigger than something a bear could push around and half is buried into the face of the cliffside. Would estimate as light to moderate shaking. Has not yet evaluated property.

Ketchikan Alaska / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : I was on the 2nd floor and my bed shook hard for approximately 5 seconds. My dresser drawer handles shook and I honestly felt like my house could slip off the foundation. I felt it sway several times.
