San Diego (101.6 km WSW of epicenter) [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / rattling, vibrating / very short : just a short lift up, as if someone pushed me up and then dropped me, but it was very slight. Like a roll
El Cajon California / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single lateral shake / 1-2 s : Felt like house was hit from all sides. Having experienced many earthquakes, even though this one was very short 1-2 seconds, the sudden jolt was strong enough to know it was an earthquake.
Rosarito Baja California (129.8 km SW of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II)
Chula Vista, california / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Light shaking, tumbling
92656 / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating : vibrating walls cracklling lightly
