Small magnitude 3.5 quake hits 6 miles south of Daly City, California, United States early morning

Just 14 minutes ago, a 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck near Daly City, San Mateo County, California, USA. The tremor was recorded early morning on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, at 6:01 am local time, at a very shallow depth of 5.9 miles below the surface.
The event was filed by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismological agency to report it.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 3.5 as well. Other agencies reporting the same quake include The Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS) at magnitude 3.5, and the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake at magnitude 3.5.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Pacifica (pop. 39,300) located 0 miles from the epicenter, San Bruno (pop. 43,200) 4 miles away, South San Francisco (pop. 67,300) 5 miles away, Millbrae (pop. 22,800) 5 miles away, Daly City (pop. 106,600) 6 miles away, and Burlingame (pop. 30,500) 7 miles away.
Other towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include San Mateo (pop. 103,500) located 9 miles from the epicenter, San Francisco (pop. 864,800) 11 miles away, and Oakland (pop. 419,300) 17 miles away.
