Kalaoa / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Startled awake but, didnt feel the need to get out of bed. Loud bang, then some rolling motion.

Kalaoa, North Kona / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Initial bump that woke me up and then like shaking and rattling for several seconds.

Holualoa, HI / Very strong shaking (MMI VII) : Very strong shaking initially which lasted approximately 3-5 seconds. Actually got out of bed and searched the USGS HVO website. Could not find it initially. Realized they must have had the wrong local time listed. 10:22 GMT equates to 12:22 AM Local time. When you get time, you need to visit these weblinks. Kailua - Kona. Kona by the Sea / Light shaking (MMI IV) : I was in bed when it felt a like someone had given me a light shove. Not an up and down feeling more a sudden horizontal movement. I could hear several items in the kitchen rattling for a very short time.
707 Hualalai Road (4.7 km SSW of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) : Woke us up. Near hair pin turn on Hualalai Road.

Palisades kailua kona / Very strong shaking (MMI VII) : I woke to shaking and rattling of our house along with all the dogs in the neighborhood barking. It lasted at least a minute. No damage.

LOKAHI Makai - lower Palisades (6 km NW of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) : I was in bed reading. Heard a bang and felt house shake briefly. One of my dogs barked and got up to see what was going on. The rest of them slept right through it! It was quick but strong enough to startle and scare me a bit. Didn't feel anything beyond that one tremor. Be safe everyone!
