From time to time, a powerful, stronger-than-usual eruption occurs at the volcano like on 3 March. An increasingly larger grey dense ash plume could be seen rising from the crater. The plume of ash rose to an altitude of 10,000 ft (3,048 m) and drifted southeast.
Predominantly, the volcano continues to produce minor vulcanian-type eruptions accompanied by ash plumes with an average altitude of 9,000 ft (2,700 m).
