Light earthquake of magnitude 4.8 just reported 10 km northwest of Sisak, Croatia

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake near Sisak, Grad Sisak, Sisak-Moslavina, Croatia, was reported only 10 minutes ago by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), considered one of the key international agencies that monitor seismic activity worldwide. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter in the morning on Monday 28 December 2020 at 7:49 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
The quake was a strong aftershock of the 5.1 quake 9.1 km northwest of Petrinja, which had occurred 1 hour and 22 minutes earlier.
