Significant earthquake of magnitude 5.0 just reported 57 km west of Masinloc, Philippines

The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported a magnitude 5.0 quake in the Philippines near Masinloc, Zambales, Central Luzon, only 14 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early afternoon on Thursday 11 March 2021 at 3:24 pm local time at a shallow depth of 10 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

A second report was later issued by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), which listed it as a magnitude 5.7 earthquake. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 5.1.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Bolitoc (pop. 3,100) located 52 km from the epicenter, Santa Cruz (pop. 26,400) 56 km away, Masinloc (pop. 28,000) 57 km away, Iba (pop. 26,900) 66 km away, Botolan (pop. 23,000) 72 km away, Agoo (pop. 29,000) 92 km away, San Narciso (pop. 15,600) 95 km away, and Lingayen (pop. 56,600) 100 km away.
