A magnitude 4.7 earthquake near Benkulu, Bengkulu, Indonesia, was reported only 8 minutes ago by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), considered one of the key international agencies that monitor seismic activity worldwide. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 18 km beneath the epicenter after midnight on Saturday 24 April 2021 at 12:06 am local time.
