A shallow magnitude 4.6 earthquake was reported in the morning near Puerta de Corral Quemado, Departamento de Belén, Catamarca, Argentina.

According to the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), the quake hit on Tuesday 4 May 2021 at 10:15 am local time at a shallow depth of 10 km.
