A magnitude 4.4 earthquake near Dapa, Surigao del Norte, Caraga, Philippines, was reported only 10 minutes ago by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in this part of the world. The earthquake occurred at a very shallow depth of 2 km beneath the epicenter after midnight on Friday 11 June 2021 at 12:41 am local time.
