Moderate tremor of magnitude 4.3 just reported 26 km northwest of Huanuco, Peru

Just 14 minutes ago, a 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Huanuco, Provincia de Huánuco, Region de Huanuco, Peru. The tremor was recorded early morning on Saturday 31 July 2021 at 2:10 am local time, at an intermediate depth of 132 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the first seismological agency to report it.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include San Cristobal de Jacas Chico (pop. 670) located 7 km from the epicenter, Huanuco (pop. 148,000) 26 km away, La Union (pop. 4,800) 38 km away, San Miguel de Cauri (pop. 5,300) 38 km away, Ambo (pop. 6,900) 43 km away, Yanacancha (pop. 23,200) 49 km away, and Chaupimarca (pop. 28,700) 63 km away. In Tingo Maria (pop. 53,200, 79 km away), and Cerro de Pasco (pop. 78,900, 95 km away), the quake was probably not felt.
