Moderate tremor of magnitude 4.4 just reported 40 km northwest of Sumbawa Besar, Indonesia

4.4 quake Sumbawa Region, Indonesia, Sep 16, 2021 4:55 pm (GMT +8)
A second report was later issued by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), which listed it as a magnitude 4.1 earthquake.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake should not have caused any significant damage, but was probably felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Pototano (pop. 5,000) located 39 km from the epicenter, and Sumbawa Besar (pop. 52,700) 40 km away.
Other towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Labuan Lombok (pop. 10,000) located 65 km from the epicenter, and Labuan Lombok (pop. 10,000) 65 km away.
