"I felt it" informes:
Noyan, Quebec (50.7 km E from epicenter) [Map] / MMI IV (Light shaking): I was awake but still in bed. Heard the glass window of our propane gaz fireplace rattling and some shaking of the ground. It sounded like a big farm truck passing on the 225 road but no truck.
Ormstown / MMI IV (Light shaking): It felt like a large cement truck hit the house. A crash, several seconds of shaking, and another crash. House is solid century brick on cement basement, and the whole thing rattled, surprised no cracked windows. I was practically on top of the epicenter and it was strong.

SOUTH-WEST MONTREAL / MMI IV (Light shaking): I felt a moderate to light shaking and trembling in my bed as well as the sound of vibrations of the building where I live, I first thought it was a snow scraper truck- however it started to shake somewhat harder and the trembling then caused more noise. It was then that I realized it had to be an earthquake as it lasted too long compared to a snow scraper vehicle passing. The house rumbled enough to know the difference.
