Source of the pumice raft in the Kermandec islands discovered: Havre Seamount

La fuente de la balsa de piedra pómez gigante recientemente observados en las islas de Kermadec probablemente fue identificado como el submarino de Havre desconocida.
Erik Klemetti (Blog de erupciones) y Robert Simmon (NASA Earth Observatory) «miró hacia atrás a través de imágenes de la zona y encontró un penacho de ceniza y el comienzo de una balsa de piedra pómez sobre 18 de julio de 2012, entre Isla Macauley y Volcán w el.»
