Lava flows on the south flank on Semeru volcano (image: Sentinel 2)
PVMBG reported that on 3 March
a pyroclastic flow was generated from collapsing material at the end of a 750-m-long lava flow on the S flank. The pyroclastic flow lasted nine minutes based on seismic data which traveled 2.3 km down the south flank. This was reported at 17:33 local time. Read more... leer todo

PVMBG reported that during February and 1-2 March
an explosions at the volcano generated a grey ash plumes, which rose approx. 656 ft-1,640 ft (200 m-500 m)
