Setif, Hidhab, Algerien / Moderate shaking (MMI V) : Wir haben ein kurzes starkes Schütteln erlebt. Das Regal hat sich von der Wand geneigt.Ein Schlafender ist geweckt worden. Die Fenster und Lampen haben sich bewegt.

El Milia (Algeria, 99 km E of epicenter) : la lampe de mon bureau accroché au toit s'est balancé et il y a eu des vibrations remarquables de la porte du bureau.j'ai tout de suite realisé ce qui vient de se passer. j'ai réveillé mon fils de 12ans qui dormait dans une piece à coté. je l'ai informé il s'est habillé en me disant que la terre organise son architecture et que les pecheurs et les marins ont de la chance parcequ'ils vont peut etre trouver beaucoup de chose de valeur. ça ma fait rire et j'ai tout de suite appellé ma soeur geologue qui m'a conseillé de ne pas céder à la panique et m'a fait un rappel utile de la conduite à tenir.
