Just 38 minutes ago, a 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Santo Domingo Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico. The tremor was recorded late at night on Saturday 6 March 2021 at 10:13 pm local time, at an intermediate depth of 78 km below the surface.
The event was filed by Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN), the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the United States Geological Survey, which listed it as a magnitude 4.1 earthquake. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 4.1.
