An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred early morning on Wednesday 14 April 2021 at 6:59 am local time near Nueva Italia de Ruiz, Múgica, Michoacan, Mexico, as reported by Mexico's National Seismological Service (SSN).
According to preliminary data, the quake was located at an intermediate depth of 70 km. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
