Eureka (50.1 km SE of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single vertical bump / 1-2 s
Eureka / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single vertical bump / very short : Big bang  
Eureka (0.7 km NE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / single lateral shake / very short : I thought it was a bigger earthquake than it was but when I looked it up I realized it was very close. (reported through our app)

6673 Hilltop dr, Eureka, Ca 95503 / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / rattling, vibrating / 1-2 s : Very mild roll like a wind gust blew through. You could hear the creaking move through the house but very mild.

King Salmon, Eureka, CA / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single vertical bump / 2-5 s : There was a single bump and then a couple of seconds of side to side gentle sway. Very short and light, but certainly felt it.  
Eureka (6.1 km NNE of epicenter) [Map] / Light shaking (MMI IV) / single vertical bump / 1-2 s : It was a definite bump (reported through our app)  
4.5 km N of epicenter [Map] / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single lateral shake / very short : One short but strong jolt (reported through our app)  
Eureka, ca (2.6 km ENE of epicenter) [Map] / Very weak shaking (MMI II) / single vertical bump / very short : Super short quick jolt that felt vertical. I was on the second floor in a house and felt the quick vertical jolt and then a second or two of very very light horizontal shake. Entire duration was approximately 4-5 seconds.  
Eureka / Weak shaking (MMI III) / single lateral shake / 1-2 s : Sudden yet gentle snap towards the northeast then a light shake.  
College of the Redwoods, CA 95501 / Light shaking (MMI IV) / 2-5 s : Heard and felt the windows in my dorm room shake quite tremendously for two two three seconds. I could even see them vibrating. M2.8 is small, but I am about five miles away from the epicenter and in an upstairs room with loose framed windows.
