The earthquake occurred at an intermediate depth of 138 km beneath the epicenter in the morning on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021, at 8:12 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
