Just 16 minutes ago, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Ciudad de San Juan, Departamento de Capital, San Juan, Argentina. The tremor was recorded in the morning on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, at 11:44 am local time, at an intermediate depth of 108 km below the surface.
The event was filed by the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, the first seismological agency to report it.
A second report was later issued by the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ), which listed it as a magnitude 4.6 earthquake as well. A third agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), reported the same quake at magnitude 4.6.
