Moderate magnitude 4.4 quake hits 60 km southeast of Bitung, Indonesia early morning

An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred only 13 minutes ago 60 km southeast of Bitung, Indonesia, Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency reported.
The quake hit at a shallow depth of 10 km beneath the epicenter near Bitung, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, early morning on Saturday 7 August 2021 at 1:01 am local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
