For several days in a row, ash plumes have been spotted at 10,000 ft (3 km) altitude. The volcano, in near-continuous strombolian activity since 2006, has apparently stepped up the frequency of larger explosions although perhaps part of this might be explained by better meteorologic conditions allowing to detect ash plumes. ... lire toutes
