"I felt it" reports:
Furano / MMI V (Moderate shaking): Light shaking, followed by a pause then shaking progressively increasing in intensity to moderate. Then rolling motion after another pause.
Kiroro / MMI IV (Light shaking): It woke us up from sleeping. Things were ratlling and the bed was shakin For some reason I think I woke a few minutes earlier too so something may have caused that.
Sapporo / MMI V (Moderate shaking): Alarm went off on mobile phones, gave us about 5 sec warning which was good. Positioned ourselves safely and immediately building started shaking moderately strongly but not violently.
Tokyo / MMI III (Weak shaking)
Ota (Japan) (860 km S from epicenter)(no details): The swaying continued for about 1.5minutes (via EMSC)
Muroran (Japan) (196 km W from epicenter)(no details): Das Alarmsystem des Hauses wurde ausgelöst, zumindest die Feuerschutztüren geschlossen. Das ist vorher noch nie aufgetreten. (via EMSC)
