Las Condes (Chile, 357 km S of epicenter) : The vibration and swaying started off mildly then for a few seconds got stronger then trailed off again. Altogether the swaying and vibrations lasted about 30 seconds. (reported through EMSC)
Vallenar (Chile, 213 km NE of epicenter) : El movimiento fue de balanceo que aparentó ir en aumento, de larga duración (45 a 60 segundos). El movimiento comenzó mientras hablaba por celular con alguien de Coquimbo, quien me llamaba justamente para informarme que estaba terminando un sismo muy fuerte (reported through EMSC)

La Serena (Chile, 61 km NE of epicenter) : We were walking right on the beach to see the sunset when it ocurred. The light posts and distribution line along the street were moving heavily. Chilean police by motorbike stopped front of the sea to report a possible tsunami. (reported through EMSC)
Coquimbo (Chile, 52 km NE of epicenter) : la calle era como una ola y el cableado eléctrico se movía para todos lados. (reported through EMSC)
Santiago (Chile, 364 km S of epicenter) : My wife an mother-in-law didn't feel anything. I felt it clearly for about 30 secs. (reported through EMSC)
Las Condes (Chile, 361 km S of epicenter) : first sounded like people on the upper floors where making alot of noise, but then the building began to sway, and it lasted for 20-30 seconds, curtains swayed and blinds swayed (reported through EMSC)
