Light earthquake of magnitude 4.0 reported in Mexico
A magnitude 4.0 earthquake 2 hours 54 minutes ago was reported by the SSN agency, considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in Mexico. The earthquake occurred at intermediate depth of 79 km (49 mi) beneath the epicenter given as 53 Km Al Sur De Mapastepec, Chis, Mexico at 2020-10-19 03:35:32 (Hora de México) local time. Magnitude and other quake parameters can still change within the next hours as the agency continues to process the seismic data.
