Yountville, CA / Light shaking (MMI IV) / horizontal (sideways) swinging / 5-10 s : I was up reading when the house shook and glass doors in the shower rattled. The house moved enough it woke my wife from sleep. | 7 users found this interesting.

Lakeport, CA / Light shaking (MMI IV) / rattling, vibrating / 2-5 s : I rolled to the floor and covered the back of my head. I was whimpering maybe crying just, a little. My wife reached down into both my nose holes with her ring and pinky finger, jammed in and pulled me up to my knees and slapped me (she slaps hard!)! She told me "you know what that was for" and pointed to the bed as direction for me to follow.
4038 E.3rd Avenue, Napa, Ca 94558 / Light shaking (MMI IV) / very short : We were awake due to a wind storm but have experienced enough earthquakes that it is very different than wind. A quick jerky feeling of the house timbers right down the the foundation, Was in the upstairs bedroom.
