An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred only 13 minutes ago 28 km southwest of Batangas, Philippines, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported.
The quake hit at an intermediate to considerable depth of 155 km beneath the epicenter near Batangas, Calabarzon, Philippines, in the evening on Thursday 11 February 2021 at 9:35 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
