Actualités volcan: Volcan Fuego (Guatemala)

dim., 30 déc. 2012, 11:05
Image of Fuego early on 29 Dec 2012 showing the lava flow
Activity has remained unchanged with weak strombolian explosions (11 counted during 28-29 Dec) producing small ash plumes up to about 500 m high, and the continuing lava flow, about 500 m long on the upper southern slope.
mar., 25 déc. 2012, 12:05
Current seismic signal from FG3 station (INSIVUMEH)
Activity has remained dominantly effusive. The lava flow on the southern slope has increased its length to 500 m on 24 Dec morning. Mild strombolian activity with infrequent (a few per day) small explosions have continued at the volcano. ...plus
ven., 21 déc. 2012, 11:05
There were 8 explosions during 20-21 Dec which produced light gray ash column of 200-400 meters height and drifting 7 km west and SW. Incandescent material reached 100 meters above the crater and generated avalanches on the upper slopw. The lava flow toward Taniluya canyon was 300 meters long.
mar., 18 déc. 2012, 11:05
6 strombolian explosions were counted by INSIVUMEH since yesterday with ash plumes rising up to 400 m and incandescent bombs 150 m above the crater. The lava flow remains active and was about 300 m long this morning.
jeu., 13 déc. 2012, 11:05
Mild strombolian activity was observed during the night; the lava flow has decreased to 150 m length.
mer., 12 déc. 2012, 11:05
The lava flow had a reported length of 200 m this morning, after a relatively calm day with no (reported) exlosions.
mer., 12 déc. 2012, 11:05
The lava flow had a reported length of 200 m this morning, after a relatively calm day with no (reported) exlosions.
mer., 12 déc. 2012, 11:05
The lava flow had a reported length of 200 m this morning, after a relatively calm day with no (reported) exlosions.
mar., 11 déc. 2012, 06:15
The lava flow towards the Ceniza canyon increased to 700 m length on 10 Dec morning and produces glowing avalanches that reach the vegetation line. Few weak strombolian explosions, sometimes accompanied by rumbling sounds, were occurring as well.
dim., 9 déc. 2012, 07:30
Weak and infrequent explosions, sometimes noisy degassing and the continuing effusion of a small lava flow, 300 m long this morning, characterize the currently low activity of the volcano.
